Help!!! How can I eat with a broken tooth?

I had a soccer game today where someone's knee collided with my front teeth. Both of the roots are fractured and the teeth are dead. I can't eat with them because I don't want to lose them forever. My dentist said it's possible to keep my teeth if I don't eat or do anymore contact sports for a while. but how can I eat?

Help!!! How can I eat with a broken tooth?
Liquids I guess.

And soft foods.

Like smush peas and stuff. Put things in a blender to liquefy them and drink though a straw
Reply:ITS CALLED SPAGETTI
Reply:blend your meal and suck it threw a straw. Or only eat soft food like bologna and mayonaise sandwiches and soup.
Reply:try to drink more than u eat so u dont get hungry..also if possible make shakes out of the necessary food groups such as banana shakes etc
Reply:eat soft stuff and desserts like ice cream and maccoroni or something
Reply:You can eat soft stuff like pudding, ice cream, soup, mashed potatoes, etc.
Reply:Ask the dr for eating advice, if you really cannot eat, try asking a dr to prescribe a nutritious liquid diet. Put solids in a blender. Also take Ensure diet additive to help you gain nutrients. Good luck.
Reply:slurp some yogurt or something
Reply:Your front teeth are for cutting food. Cut your food up with a knife and fork, and then pass it straight to your chewing teeth, which are down the sides of your mouth. If you're old enough to play football you can surely manage to eat without using your front teeth? The fact that your teeth are dead does not mean they will fall out. They need to rest in their sockets for now. Over time they will probably lose their whiteness a bit.
Reply:You can eat soft foods like pasta's, mashed potatoes. protein shakes, yogurts, soups etc..

Your front teeth are for tearing foods so no hamburgers and apples etc. If you cut it up you can eat them.

I wish you the best. If you do loose your front teeth bridges and implant are not noticeable they look very realistic I've worked on many people who have them . Hope I helped.
