Broken Tooth?
Please ask around, shop around for a dentist who is known for being good with people who are scared. Most dentists try to be gentle and careful, as so many people are skittish.

Your tooth does not hurt now, but when the nerve eventually becomes sensitive enough or exposed, you might SUDDENLY feel very much pain - and it might be on a Friday night with no dentist open.

Also, decay in a tooth can invite bacteria into the bloodstream which can cause trouble in other parts of the body, such as heart valves! This is a reality! Most likely you could have the remainder of the tooth pulled and not miss it as far as chewing goes. Because it is a top tooth, your bottom molar will stay in place and not drift. Infection could be your worst enemy in this case.

Please do yourself and your health a favor and get the attention your tooth needs. Dont let lack of money stop you. There are dental clinics and teaching clinics in some hospitals..Some dentists will let you make payments in exchange for a slightly higher fee. Call State information or social services in your area.
Reply:oral surgeon knock ya out %26amp; pull it
Reply:Use fluoride rinse, brush and floss your teeth regularly and see a dentist about getting a crown put on that tooth.
Reply:Yes it is hereditary,I hate going to the dentist too but you just have to get brave on this one and go because with that tooth breaking more and more it could cause your gums to swell and push the teeth next to it cause you more problems !!!good luck
Reply:that tooth is dead, and decaying. simply put, you have decay happening in your mouth. although you are deathly afraid of the dentist, he is the only person who can fix whatever problems you are having that are associated with that broken tooth. call the doc, tell them you dont do well with dentists, but that you have a problem tooth you need taken care of. they will be extremely sensitive to the fact that you dont do well with dentists. but hon, you gotta get it fixed. good luck!
Reply:If you can let your concern for your teeth take precedence over your fear of the dentist, try to find a highly recommended children%26#039;s dentist. If that tooth can%26#039;t be salvaged, it will need to be pulled or capped. Let the dentist check your mouth and give you a recommendation of what needs to be done. Ask for a detailed explaination of the best procedure and how soon you need to act on the recommendation to avoid further problems.
