I want to get my teeth pulled. Some are broken off under the gum. Can a regular dentist do that for me?
possibly. many of them prefer not too, though. they usually refer you to the oral surgeon
Reply:yes some can you will just have to call around in your area and ask questions
Reply:The ones broken to the gum are too short for the dentist to grab on to. You will need to be put to sleep and have them surgically removed. This would be better anyway since you wont know what is going on and have to feel the pressure of each one being pulled. Most people dont realize it but bad teeth can cause all sorts of health problems. You can get infections from the teeth into the blood stream that can go to different parts of the body, including the heart, and cause serious problem. Have them fixed, you will be glad you did. Good Luck.
Reply:You would have to be referred to the periodontist if it%26#039;s broken under the gum. If it%26#039;s not broken too deep, he/she may be able to save them. Don%26#039;t have your teeth extracted unless it%26#039;s a must, because Implants and bridges are very expensive!

Good luck!
Reply:as a dentist -under the gum will means you will need to be refered to an oral surgeon-the more imbedded the more difficult for it to be removed-these and the others that are broken--- they are rotten to the degree of time you have left them in that condition-they are putting poison into your system and in time will result in flare ups-and tight jaw which means you will die if u dont get to a dentist and get medical help. once removed you will have gaps if not your end teeth which will draw surrounding teeth into the area and cause problems-Jesus made teeth to stay in place.

best i can say is get some dental insurace if not already covered-then you will have to do the best you can-have the dentist make recomendations-if not happy get a second opinion-I have done dentistry for free or at cost to help others.

one a 7 tooth removal with pegged in on both sides secured. at a cost of 7,000$ did it for cost of about 1,400$

In Jesus amazing grace that saved a wretch like me John 3 repented and born anew as a Jew -now Jesus is my savior and best friend and life isnt about money -its about life. joyous beyond words
Reply:Definetly you will have to go to a specialist, they will be able to extract the teeth much easier and with less pain than a regular dentist, maybe you could consider root canals, I know that is more expensive but at least you keep some kind of teeth in your mouth, do maybe 1 or2 at a time.

Ihave the same problem and just had a back tooth done pain for 1 day and then much better, and I still have my base for a crown.
