Why are my teeth breaking? and why are they black inside?

This afternoon I was eating a lifesaver and %26amp; I bit it and my tooth broke in half. It%26#039;s on the right side behind my eye tooth. I mean like a huge chunk (like most of the tooth)just broke off and the piece that%26#039;s left is black. Why%26#039;s this happening? My 2 front teeth did the same thing in November. I haven%26#039;t been to a dentist in a long time but I thought I was doin ok takin care of my teeth. Maybe not? So what now? I%26#039;m 14 and we don%26#039;t have dental insurance.

Why are my teeth breaking? and why are they black inside?
Wander, wonder is right. Go to the public health clinic, they have programs that help children.

Toothaches are not normal!!! It means there is something wrong.

I am assuming it was your parents that told you toothaches are normal. They are ignorant. The fact that your mouth is a mess indicates that you are abused. Yes, NEGLECTING your child%26#039;s needs is a form of child abuse!!! It is a situation that DISGUSTS all oral health professionals and there is no excuse for it. It doesn%26#039;t necessarily happen to just poor families, wealthy parents can be guilty of neglecting their child%26#039;s oral needs too.

In my area, you can get free dental work funded by the public health unit if you are a child. Here is a link...

Reply:You probably had a cavity and the inside was rotted out and therefore the tooth was kind of hollow and weak. Your parents should for local services (such as the health dept.) to see what they offer for kids.
Reply:maybe you need to floss and brush
Reply:You could have a serious medical condition. Go see a professional right away.
Reply:Don%26#039;t drink bottled water...

see link below...
Reply:Go to a dentist. It sounds like your teeth are rotting from the inside out. The cause for this could be any number of things.
Reply:you will need caps on those teeth quickly if the dentist says that they are ok,the black is normal, but be careful as you can easily get an absys and that is not only painful, but dangerous, see a dentist soon
Reply:this happened to me, I do kickboxing %26amp; 1 day i bite in2 my gum shield %26amp; my very back tooth snapped in half, there only half a tooth left %26amp; it can be quite painful if i drink or eat sumfink very hot or very cold, since then ive make sure i brush once of a night %26amp; once of day and maybe if ive had sweets ill brush them again, I was just glad that it was a back 1 and cant be seen! Ill have to go and have it out soon but ive been to busy, so ive learnt to cope with it! How many times do you brush your teeth in a day %26amp; when was the last time you went the dentist? Your probably have to get crowns which are like false teeth but the screw in to your jaw, Its quite pain ful, a pain in the bum to get done, and quite expensive, my mum has 4 front ones done! Where do you live, if your in america, i dont know prices but in the uk the nhs do it for nothing i think if your under 18, not sure on it tho! Also if you constanly eating sugar sweets %26amp; chocolate, then this could be why, more sugar you have the more you should brush your teeth!

Anythink else you would like to know msg me!
