I had an extremely realistic dream about my teeth shattering...?

I had a bit too much caffine yesterday evening, and had very vivid and terrible dreams. The one that kept coming back was that my molars were exploding into shrapnel when they came into contact with anything, and my mouth was full of white bits I kept spitting out. It hurt so much, and I was horrified because it was night time and I knew I wouldn't be able to find a dentist quickly. What does a dream about teeth breaking mean?

Reply:ahhhh! i hate those dreams! they feel so real! in my family they say that if you dream about your teeth falling out it means someone is going to die. but as far as i know, nobody has died due to my teeth dreams =)

It sounds like you are choking on some rather explosive words.....Or maybe even holding back what you would really like to say, knowing it would be hurtful, and in your dream you are trying to tell yourself you need to "spit it out"(dreams often use puns as a form of shorthand).... Tooth dreams are very common, and I often see it posted here that they are about concerns about your appearance.... watching your words is also a concern about how you appear to others as well..... tooth dreams have many other meanings as well, depending on the story line....
