Aw. if my teeth are THIS bad, will i need dentures by the time im like, 21?

ok, i brush regularly, but i still have cavities. not just 1 or 2 cavities.. all my teeth but 2 have one or more fillings in them. my dental record is reaaaaaally long, and even with all those fillings, i STILL have cavities. i know for a fact that my dentist picks holes in my teeth to cause more cavities. ive looked at my teeth before i went to the dentist, and after i come back, i look again, and theres a hole in them that wasnt there before i went. AAAND even with my regular brushing and dental work, part of my damn back tooth broke X'(

um, help?

Cavities are primarily formed because of the frequent consumption of sugary or acidic foods. Even with excellent brushing cavities will occur if there is too much snacking on cariogenic (cavity causing) foods.

As for the picking holes in teeth you can't pick a hole in sound enamel - you'd need a drill which I think you'd notice.

If you perfect diet and oral hygiene then you can minimise future need for dental treatment although all dental restorations fail eventually and every time they are replaced more damage is caused to the underlying tooth.

If it comes to it, and it needn't, dentures aren't the end of the world. Try to keep as many of your own teeth for as long as possible.
Reply:Sound like you need to change dentist. drink more milk
Reply:Try brushing right after you eat or drink anything. Even when your at school or work just take a tooth brush with you and brush after your lunch. Do this everyday until your next checkup and I bet you won't have anymore cavities. I do this reguarly now and i get no problems..just a few wierd looks from people when I'm brushing at school lol. Meh screw them just do it. It works.
Reply:No matter how much you brush if you eat too much sugary or acidic foods you will get cavities.

Cut out those foods from your diet and always brush your teeth after eating dairy. You shouldn't let that stuff sit on your teeth.

Find a new dentist too.
